Imagine walking into the largest open space and taking in all fresh air. That’s what it’s like living in the country. When you reside in a rural area you have the advantage of running freely because there is so much room! The air smells like fresh roses and the huge area captures the essence of earth. To have so much land that reaches as far as the earth extends her arms is one advantage to living in the country. Another reason country living is so dreamy is because of little traffic. You wouldn’t have to worry about bridges going up or cars piling high. Although some may disagree because the commute is a little longer, I would rather see the scenic route than blah. The most impressive advantage for country living is the endless contact with nature. I remember growing up visiting my grandparent’s farm.

ity life has many advantages.  First, a city has a lot of businesses, which creates jobs for many.  Cities also typically have excellent schools and universtities.  In addition, there is a pluthera of entertainment options including museums, theater, parks, and sports arenas.  Finally, the city offers many forms of public transportation including buses and subways.

Living in the country or living in a city is a matter of personal choice.  The factors that influences this choice has evolved through time.  Virginia’s evolution from an agrarian society to a urban technological society occurred during the 20th century.  The decision as to where to live was simple as the majority of the citizenry were farmers and lived in a rural area.  As the old systems of farming were no longer effective and crop prices rose, many farmers chose to move to the city.  In the city economic opportunities abound due to the technological developments in transportation roads, railroads and streetcars grew.  Still, the question as to where to live is personal.  For some the economic opportunities is paramont to their happiness, as in the case of the city mouse in the story The City Mouse and the Country Mouse.   Others, such as the country mouse, feel that the beauty of the country and it’s accompanying quality of life is the only qualifier that will help ensure their happiness.  The fact though that since World War II, Northern Virginia and Tidewater has seen an influx of people seeking the increasing number of federal jobs and the growth of technology.

Oh great! We are definately making progress...
So 005 will do the first
001 will do the second
That means Larry you have the third
and Gail has the last.
CORRECT?
